In Hindustani Classical Music circles, Pandit Ghosh does not need much introduction. Winner of a number of prestigious awards and honors, Pandit Ghosh has performed all over India and many other countries of the world. Enriched with a mellifluous voice, well-cultivated & all round musicianship and seasoned performing skills, Pandit Ghosh is also one of the few musicians in India who have admirably combined performance with academics. Pandit Ghosh began his journey in music at the tender age of 7 under the guidance of his mother Smt. Monika Ghosh. Later he trained under the maestros like Pandit Shrikant Bakre, Padmabhushan Pandit Jnan Prakash Ghosh, and finally, the living legend of Indian music, Padmavibhushan Pandit Jasraj-ji, who transformed him into a full-fledged performing musician. In the year 2008, the Sangeet Martand himself has bestowed the title of “Acharya Varishtha” to Pandit Ghosh.
